On April 27, 2025, educational materials were distributed among school-going children from underprivileged families at Khulishakura Non-Formal School, Sirajganj. A total of 35 students received one school bag, two pens, and a set of notebooks for Mathematics, English, and Bengali. Additionally, a cash donation was made to support the development of the school.
The event was led by Mr. Abu Zafar Khan, Executive Director of both the Dr. Anna-Fazlur Foundation and Education Development Program (EDP). The initiative was financially supported by “Anna for Bangladesh,” a donor organization based in Germany.
The distribution ceremony was attended by Mr. Ayyub Ali, Founder of Khulishakura Non-Formal School and Head Teacher of Gyanodayani High School, Sirajganj. Also present were Mr. Juaber Zico, school teacher and EDP volunteer, along with other EDP officials.
During the program, students performed songs, recited rhymes, and delivered poems to express their gratitude to the guests.
School authorities and community members expressed that such initiatives open new horizons for children from disadvantaged families, motivating them to continue their education with enthusiasm and hope.
