In the early stage of the 21st century, the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh was not at a satisfactory level but formal corruption was within control. Then the Information & Technology sector was not updated here. Most of the people of this country were poor. They had to struggle for their livelihood and sometimes dependents on loans and others to survive. Their children were to go far for their education on foot. Girls & women were subject to eve-teasing very often. The low-income parents were unable to bear the educational expenses of their children so early marriage and dropout from education rate both for girls & boys was very high. Teenagers were getting involved in terrorism and drug addiction for frustration. For that situation in 2005, some visionary and energetic young people realized the upcoming various difficulties and challenges of education, life and society. To face all these social and financial challenges the young people established the EDP (Education Development Program) to develop various activities including education loans, distribution of study materials, purchase of bicycles for students, loans for health & hygiene issues. Later, during the Corona pandemic, it conducted various activities such as distribution of relief goods, creating health awareness, and providing foods to families affected by Corona. Currently, EDP is working on nutrition, health care, etc.
We are always accountable, responsible and liable for our activities and performances and loyal to almighty God. Let humanity be expanded with love……
